Air Temperature Sensor (IATB)
Details
The Link Air Temperature Sensor (IATB) is a NTC thermistor sensor that accurately measures the temperature of the air entering the engine. When used with a compatible Link ECU, intake air temperature data is used to calculate air density, allowing the ECU to optimise fuel delivery and ignition timing across changing operating conditions.
Models Supported | All Link ECUs. Other aftermarket ECUs with NTC air temperature sensor inputs. Aluminium and steel weld-in mounting bosses are sold separately (PN 101-0049 and PN 101-0050). |
Warnings | Mount in the intake system where it accurately measures incoming air temperature. For best results, install upstream of the throttle body and away from excessive heat soak. A fast-response air temperature sensor is recommended for forced induction applications. |
